Non ho tempo Jesolo Sand Nativity 2024

Last days to discover the Jesolo Sand Nativity

The exhibition can be visited until Sunday 9 February, the goal of 130,000 visitors is approaching. Ice Nativity Scene: 25,000 euros collected.

The Jesolo Sand Nativity easily surpasses the milestone of 120,000 visitors. The famous sand nativity scene, entitled “Fratelli tutti” (All Brothers) and dedicated this year to interreligious dialogue, is continuing to register important numbers even in these days thanks to the high artistic value of the sculptures and the important message they convey.

Since its inauguration on Friday 29 November in the presence of the vicar bishop of Jerusalem, Monsignor Giacinto-Boulos Marcuzzo, the Sand Nativity has welcomed thousands of visitors, reaching the threshold of 100,000 admissions in the first few days of the new year and is now sailing towards 130,000. The data confirms the success of the event, which closed the previous edition with 140,000 visitors, and sees a slight increase in donations that this year will also be used to support charitable projects and associations in the area. The same goal has been established for the sum collected by the Ice Nativity Scene, whose visitors (70,000) donated 25,000 euros.

The Orchestra Classica del Veneto concert scheduled for Saturday 8 February at 9:00 pm at the Church of San Giovanni Battista will celebrate the theme chosen this year. Maestro Dino Doni will conduct the orchestra with the accompaniment of the “Academia Ars Canendi” choir, directed by Manuela Meneghello, accompanied by prestigious soloists: soprano Roberta Canzian, tenor Gabriele Rizzotto and bass Mauro Adami. The performance will be enriched by the participation of Sabrina Comin on the organ and harpsichord.
